Luncheons and Business after Hours
The Chamber has been very active this year arranging over 20 luncheons and Business after Hours networking opportunities.

Department of Highways - Urban Visitor Signs (UVS) 
We have worked with the Department of Highways to create acceptable Highway Signs and regulations and an implementation policy for the new regulations.

Economic Development & the 2007 Canada Winter Games
WCC is currently working with Department of Economic Development and the Canada Winter Games Committee to make sure Whitehorse/Yukon businesses will be able to benefit from the 2007 Canada Winter Games.

City of Whitehorse & Waterfront Development
Work continues with the City on several issues – Waterfront Development, Downtown Planning Committee and representing various businesses at City Council meetings.

Weekly E-Bulletin
The Chamber offers a Weekly E-Bulletin to its membership to keep them informed about local business issues and Chamber events plus members are also welcomed to use this medium for advertising purposes (a small fee applies).

Your Chamber’s New Website
Part of the Strategic Plan is the creation of this new website for the Whitehorse Chamber of Commerce. This website will offer our members opportunities to advertise and find information for their business and answer questions.

Whitehorse Chamber Strategic Plan
The Chamber completed a strategic plan initiative last year and rolled out our “new direction” at the AGM in September 2005.  This year's AGM was on August 29th, 2006 at the Yukon Inn and focused on a panel discussion with local developers to discuss the future of Whitehorse.
