The 2007 Planter Box Program is now complete!  The Whitehorse Chamber of Commerce would like to thank the City of Whitehorse and Challenge Community Vocational Alternatives for their support as always for this program.  Keep watching for details for the upcoming 2008 season! 

Sponsor one or several planter boxes for the 2007 season for a one-time low fee and your planter box(es) will be planted with beautiful flowers, delivered and maintained for the entire summer season on your behalf.

Choose the location of your planter box (some restrictions may apply), us it to advertise and enjoy the benefits all summer long!  Planter boxes will be delivered the first week of June (weather permitting) and will be removed in early September. 
  
Program Details: 

• There are 23 corner boxes (36"L x 36"W x 36"H) and 53 rectangular boxes (48"L x 18"W x 18" H) available for sponsorship.
• Sponsorship will be awarded to businesses on a first-come-first-serve-basis.
• Advertising signs may be placed on one or all sides of the planter boxes but sign size is limited to a maximum size of 32" x 32" on corner boxes and 46"L x 16"W on rectangular boxes.  Signs from previous years may be reused but will be trimmed down to meet new sign standards provided it doesn't interfere with the graphics of the sign.
• Sponsors will be notified by the Whitehorse Chamber when delivery of the planter boxes will occur and are asked to plainly mark their requested location the night before delivery, if necessary.
• The City of Whitehorse will donate the manpower and equipment to deliver and remove the planter boxes.
• Challenge Community Vocational Alternatives will plant and maintain the flowers throughout the season.
• Sponsorship fees are payable to the Whitehorse Chamber of Commerce and are due prior to delivery of the planter boxes, otherwise the sponsor will "lose" its box at which time it will be made available for another business to sponsor.
