Crime Stoppers
Crime Stoppers is a community-run association which offers cash rewards for tips that solve crimes. It's a non-profit program staffed entirely by volunteers and governed by a board of directors.

Crime Stoppers' goal is to encourage higher rates of reporting for criminal or suspicious activities in the community.  Crime Stoppers has a toll free, anonymous tips line at 1-800-222-8477 (TIPS).

Citizens on Patrol
Citizens on Patrol (COPs) is a group of Whitehorse citizens that is concerned about the safety of our community.  These volunteers take an active role in policing the community by making mobile patrols of local areas, observing and reporting any suspicious activities throughout the community and acting as extra eyes and ears for the RCMP.

Crime Prevention Yukon
Crime Prevention Yukon is a non-profit organization that has addressed issues of crime and victimization for the past eleven years. Our mission is to create safer communities through social development, increased public awareness and reduced opportunities for crime.

Our programs, Staying Safe, Supporting Youth, and Vital Communities, seek to lower crime on two fronts: by teaching people how to protect themselves from potential crime and by encouraging a society that makes criminality rare. Contact us for brochures, books, workshops, movies, speaking engagements, and more on the topic of creating safer homes and streets. Crime Prevention Yukon is also a terrific source of information about local crime prevention activities and organizations and serves as an administrative support for local groups and initiatives.
